1/25 – 2/15 = +1 pound (current weight 233.8). Yeah, haven’t really been to great about tracking…

1/18/2015 – 1/24/2015 = -3 pounds (current weight 232.8)

1/25/2015 – I’ve now been on WeightWatchers for 3 weeks and have lost 5.2 pounds.  This past week I made some changes to my eating routine and lost 3 pounds, which I’m pretty happy with.

We made this Parika Chicken with Sour Cream Gravy (Low Carb and Gluten Free) recipe from  This site has some awesome recipes, you should check it out.

I do substitute chicken breast for the chicken thighs and use whatever Paprika is available, but it’s been great each time.  And I’m not a great cook, I only go for recipes that are simple (not too many ingredients) and easy to follow.  This recipe really suits me.  The only points come from the chicken (3 ounces = 3 points) and the sour cream (3 points if you eat ALL the gravy yourself).

Another staple in my diet is the fruit smoothie (3 points) that I have for breakfast every morning along with a high-fiber blueberry muffin (2 points) from Trader Joe’s.  The smoothie is super easy and fast to make and gets me 3 of my daily fruits along with a dairy.

One serving:

1/2 cup Kefir (Trader Joe’s)

1/2 cup Goat’s Milk Yogurt (I like this because it’s milder than other yogurts.  Found at Trader Joe’s.)

1 cup frozen cherries

1/2 a banana

1/8 cup skim milk
